Johnny Ackel Memorial Rodeo and Festival

The Johnny Ackel Memorial Rodeo is an annual, community-driven rodeo event held in Winnie, Texas.

One of the most important aspects of the event is that a significant portion of the proceeds (from ticket sales to concessions) go directly toward college scholarships for local students in agricultural and FFA (Future Farmers of America) programs, specifically in the East Chambers, Hamshire-Fannett, Anahauc and Barbers Hill school districts.
